Description
All the gold bars we sell are from leading LBMA approved refiners. The serial number, weight and fineness are stamped on the bar. The gold 250g bar contains 8.0375 troy ounces fine gold.
Larger gold bars are cast by pouring the molten gold into a mould, which means that the finish is more uneven than the smaller minted bars. They are not sealed in any packaging, nor do they generally come with any certification. This does not reduce their resale value.
We do not always have the 250g bars in stock, but we can usually order them for you, so please ring us to enquire.
Pure gold is extremely soft and it is easy for bars to pick up small scratches and knocks, so it is best to keep them in the same condition as when they were sold to you. Bars which have been badly damaged may be worth less when you re-sell them.
