Description
The Swiss 10 Franc was minted between 1911 and 1922. The obverse design by Fritz Landry shows the profile of a female with plaited hair, wearing a garland of edelweis with the word ÔHelvetiaÕ above. In the background is an alpine panorama.
The reverse design is of the Swiss cross on a shield, with an ornate background of oak leaves. The denomination and date are on the reverse.
