All the gold bars we sell are from leading LBMA approved refiners. Metalor is one of the largest and most renowned gold refiners who supply us. The Metalor bar comes sealed within its assay certificate which shows its serial number. The unique serial number, weight and fineness are stamped on the bar. The one ounce gold bar contains 1 troy ounce or 31.1035g fine gold.
Pure gold is extremely soft and it is easy for bars to pick up small scratches and knocks, so it is best to keep them in the same condition as when they were sold to you. Bars which have been badly damaged may be worth less when you re-sell them.
