All the gold bars we sell are from leading LBMA approved refiners. The serial number, weight and fineness are stamped on the bar. The gold kilo bar contains 32.15 troy ounces fine gold. This is our largest gold bar and the best value of bar for investment.
Kilo bars are cast, which means that the pure molten gold is poured into a mould. The finish is more uneven than the smaller minted bars and they are not sealed in any packaging, nor do they generally come with any certification. This does not reduce their resale value.
Pure gold is extremely soft and it is easy for bars to pick up small scratches and knocks, so it is best to keep them in the same condition as when they were sold to you. Bars which have been badly damaged may be worth less when you re-sell them.
