Description
The Mexican 50 Peso was minted between 1921 and 1947, but was officially restruck in later years with the date 1947. It is particularly popular because it is one of the few bullion coins which is over one ounce in weight, containing 37.5g of pure gold. The obverse shows an image of winged Victory. Reverse Ð Mexican coat of arms, an eagle holding a snake in its mouth, above a cactus.
